NEWSFRUITS ZIPPER Unveils Lead Track “NEW KAWAII” from Debut Album with Early Distribution
Announced concurrently with the debut of their first terrestrial TV program “Mayurika and the Fruit Zipper” (TV Asahi) and radio program “FRUITS ZIPPER’s Radio Zipper!” (Nippon Broadcasting) starting in April, and in celebration of their group’s 2nd anniversary, FRUITS ZIPPER will hold the live event “FRUITS ZIPPER 2nd ANNIVERSARY Super Joyful Live ~NEW KAWAII~” at Nippon Budokan for two days in May.
The lead song “NEW KAWAII” from their upcoming album expresses individuality and values using the term “NEW KAWAII,” embracing both the positive and not-so-perfect aspects of oneself and others. FRUITS ZIPPER has been portraying each member’s uniqueness and charm as “NEW KAWAII” since the group’s formation, updating various values with the word “NEW KAWAII.” The lyrics and composition were handled by Sho Yamamoto, who also worked on “My Cutest Part.”
This song is set to debut on April 1st on TBS’s “CDTV Live! Live!” Additionally, a teaser video for the music video will be released today at 8 p.m., and solo teaser videos for each member will be released daily from March 23rd onwards.
さらに、アルバムの発売とデビュー2周年を記念したポップアップストア「FRUITS ZIPPER -NEW KAWAII- POP UP STORE」が、原宿で4月5日〜4月14日まで開催。新作グッズはもちろんのこと、2周年記念ということで過去衣装のアクリルスタンドの再販、メンバーそれぞれがデザイン監修等行っている生誕祭グッズ等の販売が行われます。
