ASOBISYSTEM Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yusuke Nakagawa; hereinafter referred to as “ASOBISYSTEM”), Activ8 Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takeshi Osaka; hereinafter referred to as “Activ8”), and KDDI Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Makoto Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as “KDDI”) have signed a basic agreement on March 7, 2023, to establish a strategic partnership aimed at creating next-generation artists who are active in both real and virtual worlds and developing related content optimized for the metaverse era, as well as for their global expansion (hereinafter referred to as “this Agreement”).

The three companies will proceed with discussions aimed at achieving the objectives of this Agreement through ANNIN Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by ASOBISYSTEM and Activ8 (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Directors: Yusuke Nakagawa, Takeshi Osaka; hereinafter referred to as “ANNIN”).
