カプセルAn electro-pop duo that has been active since 1997. They were among the first to adopt the style of completing music production in a virtual studio using a PC, and their free-spirited and stimulating music has left a lasting impact on the music scene. The vocal, Toshiko Koshijima, who exudes a timeless atmosphere, and Yasutaka Nakata, who handles all aspects of music production, create a distinctive new-retro synth sound. Highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally, their sound is often heard even outside Japan. Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, CAPSULE has released a new album titled “Metropolis,” embodying a nostalgic yet futuristic synth-wave and city-pop vibe.
